Arts Council Summer Fellowships Call for ProposalsRecognizing the need to support the development of student work intended for performance, exhibition, or publication, the Arts Council announces the availability of Arts Council Summer Fellowships. These fellowships are designed to support students university-wide undertaking original creative projects over the summer. (Such projects might involve adaptation, choreography, sculpture, painting, drawing, multi-media, music composition, script-writing, or translation.) Please submit cover letter, resume, and timeline via email to uchicagoarts@listhost.uchicago.edu. Put your project title in the subject line. Samples of work and any supporting materials not able to be emailed should be delivered to Heidi Coleman, Reynolds 301. Clearly indicate your name and project title on the packet of additional materials. Additional fine print: Students should be prepared to consult, either in person or through email, with the award committee and/or a Council advisor to evaluate progress. Recipients of a Summer Fellowship will be required to submit documentation of completed projects to the Arts Council by the first Friday of the Fall Quarter.
